Ruth is your first call to produce a commercial. She works closely with Pogo’s directors to create bids that hit key elements important to the Agency and Client. Once the job is awarded, Ruth is still there, overseeing the production with daily updates from the Line Producer. For Ruth, it’s client service, communication, and always over delivering.
Ruth served as the Southeast President of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers from 2012-2016, working to develop industry standards, as well as strengthen dialogue and relationships within the advertising community.
Ruth loves traveling and is Pogo’s restaurant connoisseur.
Joe oversees vendor relationships and assists with bids, treatments and pitches. When production kicks into high gear, Joe can usually be found making sense of a pile of storyboard frames or lending a hand on set with the camera department.
A New Yorker and summa cum laude graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a bachelor of fine arts in digital filmmaking, Joe is a skilled, critical support system to our team of directors and producers.
Growing up, Joe could be found backstage in community theater productions. He quickly realized his passion for production working sound, props, and pulling strings to make scenery changes.
Joe appreciates great design, typography, electronic music, and vodka. In his spare time, he checks out indie films and makes annual pilgrimages to Burning Man.
Madison is our go-to team player. She researches for directors’ treatments, books crew, and assists on set while running the office and managing Pogo’s social media.
Madison came to Pogo after graduating from The University of Georgia with a degree in Digital and Broadcast Journalism. She credits her tenacity to time spent as a reporter in Athens and as a video production intern for Gannett in Atlanta.
A pop culture enthusiast and Atlanta native, Madison is Pogo’s avid concert goer and always on the hunt for the perfect city skyline view.
A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Laura has worked with Pogo since 2004 and heads her own firm, Laura J Stephens, CPA, P.C.
She loves traveling, and rarely goes to the same place twice as there is always somewhere new she wants to explore. Her favorite place on earth so far is Cinque Terre, Italy.
Laura is also Pogo’s adrenaline junkie, having done accelerated free-fall from 13,000 feet up. Has your Accountant done that? Didn’t think so.
